Sandy Marcus Announces Candidacy for Marathon County Circuit Court Judge-Branch 1

Circuit and Family Court Commissioner, Sandy Marcus, announces her candidacy for Marathon County Circuit Court Judge, Branch 5, the position currently held by Judge Patrick Brady. Judge Brady has announced his retirement.
In her current position, Marcus has presided over a wide range of court cases, listening to testimony, assessing credibility and facts, applying the law, and issuing decisions within a compressed time frame. She has a thorough working knowledge of the local court system, its rules of procedure and evidence, and the authority conferred upon a judicial official.
Prior to serving as Court Commissioner, Marcus was the sole practitioner in her law firm dedicated to the representation of children and the elderly. She has served as a partner in a general practice law firm, as a trust officer, and as Law Clerk to Presiding Judge John P. Foley, Wisconsin Court of Appeals.
